MEET THE TEAM
OWNER
TERRY
Terry Bogues has made an impact on people’s lives in many different ways. Her career started with a BSN in Community Health Education from UW-Lacrosse, later graduating from Carroll College with a BSN in Nursing where she worked as an emergency and hospice nurse for 25 years. After years of helping families in some of the toughest times of their lives, she wanted to be there for one of their happiest moments. In 2016 Terry saw a vision for the space and started the transformation to the beautiful venue now known as Terrace 167.
Terry and her husband John have been married for 30 years, have 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 2 dogs. During her free time (which there isn’t much of) she loves to go antique shopping, spend time up on Lake Winnebago and any place she can put her feet up.
Her favorite part of running a wedding venue is getting to see and witness one of the best days of someone’s life… making all the hard work worth it! To her, every person getting married at Terrace 167 is treated like part of her family!
venue MANAGER
Noelle
Hired on with us as a teenager, Noelle joined our team in 2021 as an Event Assistant. She is truly part of the heartbeat of our venue, recognized and beloved by clients and staff alike. Noelle put in the time and worked her way up while also finishing school, earning her Business and Economics degree with a minor in Event Planning at UW-Whitewater College. Having made her professional home with us, Noelle is fluidly adapted to a Venue Management role here at Terrace 167 and enjoys interacting with the happy couples and what each of their unique celebrations bring to the table. She is familiar with the beauty of our scenic Kettle Moraine countryside, having grown up in the West Bend area. When Noelle isn’t planning events, she enjoys picking up coffee, concerts and anything outdoors, and time with her boyfriend, family and friends.
Having taken the helm in Venue Management, Noelle and Monica so enjoy working with our clients and keeping everything in check to make the event that they have dreamed of come to life. “One of the biggest joys of working for Terrace 167 is meeting with our clients from the minute they step through the front door until the goodbyes at the end of their dream event. Another aspect is our incredible staff that I have seen time and again bring energy and professionalism both within our staff and for our clients. Our team is truly one of a kind!” Noelle cannot wait to continue to connect and serve on your wedding or event day.
venue MANAGER
Monica
Monica comes to us with fifteen years in the Event Industry. She finds joy in planning events and weddings with a service-oriented mindset. Monica earned her degree in English Literature & Writing at the University of Northwestern, St Paul. She then married her husband Tyler, Montana native and Firefighter/Paramedic, and moved to Kauai, Hawaii. Monica worked in Event Management and destination weddings for a large Marriott property. After three years on island, they returned to the Lake Country area to begin a family. When she isn’t bringing events to life, Monica enjoys adventures with Tyler and their daughters, thrifting, spending time with her friends and church community and taking a spin on her beach cruiser. A classic romantic, she commemorates all the special things in life and is right at home in the wedding world.
Monica began in Event Management with us and has taken on Venue Management, joyfully co-sharing the role with Noelle. “Terrace is one of a kind, close to the heartbeat of Milwaukee but tucked away enough to carry country elegance. There’s nothing quite like the buttery yellow of the autumn foliage seen so prominently in this neck of the woods. I love our staff and all that Terry and John have built here.” Alongside our expert team at Terrace 167, she cannot wait to serve you on your wedding or event day.
OFFICE MANAGER
TIMMERLY
Timmerly joined our team when the doors opened in September 2016 as our Office Manager creating our master filing system of contracts, payroll, invoicing and all else administrative. She comes to us from the public sector where she worked in the clerk’s department managing elections and liquor licensing. Timmerly is a local who was raised surrounded by the food & beverage industry (her parents owned the historical landmark, Slinger House) and also worked at the world famous Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, FL and at the Heidel House Resort in Green Lake as Executive Assistant to the General Manager.
She and her husband of nearly 30 years and their 2 children enjoy skiing, camping and adventurous vacations around the country and beyond. She thrives on the joyous, exhilarating atmosphere that Terrace 167 brings from all the happy couples’ weddings and celebrations.
BAR MANAGER
ANNA
Anna is a native of Menomonee Falls. Following high school, she joined the United States Army. After serving nine years, she ran a daycare that allowed her to spend her days with her now adult children, Tyler and Alexis. She joined John and Terry at their Sports Pub in 2011 and has since followed them to Terrace 167 in the Fall of 2016. She is employed full time with the United States Postal Service. She and her husband Scott can be found riding their Harley in many types of Wisconsin weather. She also enjoys traveling and spending her free time making memories with family and friends.
One of Anna’s favorite tasks as bar manager is meeting with our engaged couples to create the perfect signature drink or bar package for their celebration. She also enjoys watching an event come full circle while serving drinks from behind the bar with her amazing staff! Anna looks forward to sharing your event with you.
